Sowing Seeds

One of the joys in ministry is seeing the seeds that you have sown take root, grow and bear good fruit. Since our last news letter we had two such moments occur. The fist took place when we were at First Assembly in Brandon, where one of the young men who was a part of our youth ministry is now the Youth Pastor! We are so proud of José Reyes and how he is being used by God. The second occurred when one of “our girls” came to the house and showed us the engagement ring she had just received hours before! Congratulations Emily and Delford!

What happend to November?!

Boy November flew by! It's hard to believe that a year ago we were approved for Missions by the Executive Missions board. Where did the time go?! Itineration is some sort of weird space-time continuum thing where time seems to fly by and and to creep slowly at the same time. Strange... but true.

We're gearing up for our first published newsletter (being sent out by a newsletter company). It's a lot of work, but we want to stay connected with our partners. Lets us know if you don't get one.

A Time for Everything...

There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under heaven. Ecclesiastes 3:1

Winding through the hills of North Georgia, admiring the beauty of fall I’m reminded of God’s promise that there is a time for everything; a season for everything. What a joy it is to travel and find so many likeminded believers who partner with us to reach the youth of Southern Europe. We consider it a privilege to serve Europe and be an extension of each of our supporting churches. October has been an extremely busy month of travel (over 5,300 miles). It’s tiring, yet we press on, knowing His call is greater than our comfort. Trust that whatever season of life you’re in; you are there by divine appointment. Be strengthened and encouraged knowing that our family prays for you consistently.

We extend our sincere thanks to all who sacrificially support this ministry each month. If you are not currently supporting this ministry, would you prayerfully consider adding our family to your missions family? The youth of Southern Europe are waiting. “How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them? And how can they preach unless they are sent? As it is written, "How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!" Rom 10:14-15 NIV

A Peek in the Window

When we say we pray for you we mean it! Every night we pray generally for all our partnering churches and individuals, but we also pray for you specifically. We have two bags. In one bag are cards with the names of our partnering churches and individuals and in the other missionaries we know and support. Each of the children picks out of the first bag and then one child will pick out of the other and during our family devotional time we all pray.

This would be a great place for you to leave prayer requests if you have any!

Blessings,

Tony

Ten Day Tour

We just got back from an incredible ten day itineration tour! We started from Panama City then to the Atlanta area where we met some incredible Pastors and Churches. One such place was Rescue Atlanta where the Pastor is Mel Rolls. It's a church that ministers to Homeless and at risk children in the heart of Atlanta.

After Atlanta we were off to "Little Havana" in Miami , FL to Casablanca Christian Center where Eddie Rivero is the Lead Pastor. But before we got there we stopped at Polk City for the SHIFT Youth retreat where we were the guest speakers. While there we were also guests at Florida's First Assembly of God (That's their name and what they are) for their Missions Convention.

After a great service at Casablanca we were off to New Life Assembly of God in Pembroke Pines, FL where Sister Maria Khaleel is the Pastor.

Time doesn't permit to tell of all the wonderful people we met and how gracious all our hosts and hostesses were. It was a humbling experience to see God working so mightily in so many places in so many diverse ways. If any of you read this let me say publicly... Thank you!

God is so Cool!

When we received monthly report from Springfield there was a pledge from a Pastor in Lynchburg, VA. We've never been to Virgina... So where was this coming from? So I tracked down his number from the ministers directory and gave him a call. It turns out that the Lord impressed him to sent money in to Springfield telling them to pick up the newest missionary. To make a long story short it was us! He received a report back saying that Tony (with this horribly long last name) had revived the funds and he began to pray for us every day! It turns out that they are snow birds and live in Zephyrhills, FL in the winter and we will be in Zephyrhills the same time they are! We'll be getting together and meeting in December. Isn't it so cool how God works out things?

Newsletter

We will be sending out our E-newsletter shortly. We'd like to have your help making it better and more informative. Please feel free to leave feed back on how we can improve it, and what kind of information you'd like to see it contain. Also feel free to comment on the layout, style, etc, etc. It's a work in progress but with your help I'm sure we can make it great!

Welcome!

In an effort to keep the lines of communication open with all our prayer partners and supporting churches and individuals we're trying something a bit different. We've jumped into the 21st century and opened a real blog. Please feel free to leave any questions or comments or just drop in to say "Hi".

Thanks for your prayers and support!

Tony
